Wags & Whiskers in the Community

A. day of Peace, Love and Paws!  This was not only a day of fun but also a successful community event with pets finding their "furever" homes! We are proud to have provided 70 FREE microchips and 100 low cost vaccinations to local dogs at this event, in partnership with Hometown Mobile Vet!

-A huge THANKS to Jacquie Bird-Realty, Social Bird Media and The Lodge at Dover Place for hosting this event for us in 2023.  It was not only a fundraiser but it was loads of FUN!

Big River Racing Management and its race participants donated $1,500 to our campaign to "Raise the Woof" on our new animal shelter!  Pictured here are Matt Helbig of Big River Racing Management and board member Mike Bohm.

This annual pickleball tournament is our largest fundraiser of the year.  The 2023 event netted $14.600 for Wags & Whiskers!  Pictured here are supporter Tony Martinez along with board members Tracy Sator (holding Biscuit Parker) and Mike Bohm.

In its 18th year of amazing fireworks and fireballs professionally choreographed to music, Missouri Pyrotechnical Association and Innsbrook Corporation partnered with Wags & Whiskers to raise $10,700 toward our efforts to "Raise the Woof" on our new animal shelter!  Pictured here are board member Kathy Caton (center) with Charlie Boyce (left) and Chip Wobbe (right), owners of Innsbrook Corporation.

Shelter construction began on January 4, 2023 and progress continues.  We are working feverishly to complete the building so we can begin helping dogs and cats in Warren County even further!
